As we reflect on this year, one project we are especially proud of at Nakama Worldwide Solutions is the mobilization and demobilization of fire trucks between the US and Panama, which we began in January 2025 and are still working on.
This operation has been possible thanks to the trust and partnership of our friends at TXR, who continue to rely on Nakama’s experience, professionalism, and proven capability in handling the logistics of highly specialized equipment.
So far, we have successfully moved four units from the initial batch of twelve, and we are already preparing for the next mobilization before the year wraps up. Each fire truck weighs 20 tons and measures 119 CBM approx., which requires detailed planning and careful execution and precise coordination at every stage of the process.

These units were transported from the Pacific side to the Atlantic side of Panama (and vice versa) using the Dry Canal, ensuring an efficient internal transit before their international shipment.
For non-operational units, we are executing shipments via MAFI (Panama/USA), while the operational units are transported via RORO, always selecting the safest and most effective method for each case.
These fire trucks belong to the Civil Aviation Authority of Panama (AAC) and are being transported to the US for a full overhaul. Once completed, they will return to Panama to continue supporting airport operations nationwide, working alongside the Panama Fire Department to strengthen safety across the country’s aviation network.
At Nakama WWS, we are grateful for the trust, proud of our team’s work, and excited for what lies ahead.
